02.14.2025

Some of our MSc in Sports Business Management students are making a name for themselves in the International Olympic Case Study Competition (CSC), organized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) – Olympic Studies Centre.

  • Four IUM teams successfully advanced through the first three rounds, and we are thrilled to announce that one team has won and will now compete in the semi-finals!

  • Congratulations to:
Gianna Oberto, Margaux Robin, Agenee Sithamparanathan, Sarah Somavia, Laurie Sponta, and Daniela Todorova!

The Team's Experience

"We chose to compete to sharpen our professional skills and gain experience presenting to diverse audiences. This competition allowed us to put our knowledge of the sports business industry to the test! We’ve learned the importance of communication in an international setting, that consistency is key, and that leveraging our individual strengths made all the difference."

What is the International Olympic Case Study Competition (CSC)?

The CSC is an annual competition organized by the IOC Olympic Studies Centre in collaboration with partner universities. It challenges students to act as consulting agencies and address real-world strategic management issues for an Olympic Movement organization.

Best of luck to our team in the semi-finals—we are cheering you on!
