[LEARNING FROM PROFESSIONALS] Girls on Track - Formula E Panel at IUM
🔹Last Friday, just before the Monaco E-Prix weekend kicked off, we had the incredible opportunity to host a "Girls on Track" panel – and it was nothing short of inspiring.
🔹The room was filled with talented women working across different roles in the motorsports field, including one of our IUM alumnae, Laura Pochylski. They shared raw, powerful stories of passion, perseverance, and breaking barriers in a male-dominated industry.
💬 “There are no two days alike. This industry thrives on collaboration. We all work towards the same goal.”
💬 “Men are judged on potential. Women are judged on results.”
💬 “Say yes even when you're unsure – otherwise, you won’t learn.”
💬 “Be brave, be stubborn, take calculated risks.”
💬 “Show what you can do, instead of telling.”
These words hit home for our students and reminded us of the power of resilience and passion.
A big thank you to our guest speakers: Julia Pallé, VP Sustainability at Formula E, Chloe Sharpe, Digital Social Media Manager at Mahindra Racing, Laura Pochylski, Account Manager at All Time (2025 IUM Graduate), Joanna Luong, Secretary to the Monaco Marshals at Automobile Club de Monaco.
Moderators: Frédérique Reynertz, Adjunct Professor at IUM, and Sarah Somavia, current IUM student.
Your stories resonated deeply and showed our students what’s possible.
🔹At IUM, we’re proud to support future leaders in sports through our MSc in Sports Business Management, preparing students to thrive in industries where innovation, teamwork, and ambition lead the way.
