Identification of the data controller
As an IUM alumnus/alumna, your personal data will be processed jointly by the OMNES Education Group (through its company Organisation et Développement, Cœur Défense II, 90/102 avenue du Général de Gaulle, 92400 Courbevoie, RCS Nanterre 445 260 169) and the International University of Monaco (IUM). The representative of the OMNES Education Group in Monaco, within the meaning of Article 25 of the law on personal data protection, is the company INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF MONACO – IUM, a Monaco joint-stock company, registered under number 01S03952, 6, Rue Augustin Vento "Le Stella" – 98000 Monaco.
The group has appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO), whom you can contact at the company's postal address or by email (dpo@omneseducation.com).
The OMNES Education Group and IUM are committed to ensuring that the collection and processing of your data comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Monaco's law on personal data protection.
Origin of data and types of data processed
In the context of our interactions, we process personal data concerning you: either because you provided it to us directly, or because we collected it automatically, or because we collected it indirectly from third parties. We take care, at every stage of processing, to limit the collected data to what is adequate, relevant, and necessary for the pursued purposes.
The primary source of your data comes from your student profile and the data you provided or that we collected during your studies. We may supplement this data after your studies in the following ways:
1 - DATA WE INTEGRATE AUTOMATICALLY
When you join IUM we automatically add to the directory the personal details you provided during the admissions process, namely: first name and surname, date of birth, home address, telephone number, email address, nationality, course of study and expected graduation date. You are notified of this addition by an email inviting you to activate your account and enrich your profile.
2 - DATA YOU PROVIDE TO US
Once your profile is activated, you can complete it by filling in the available fields detailing your personal or professional data. You are free to define, through your profile settings, who can view this data.
3 - DATA COLLECTED FROM THIRD PARTIES
We may collect information about you if you have made it freely accessible on Linkedin to update your profile on our AlumnForce platform. These verifications take place once a month. If an update appears necessary, the proposed changes are presented to you, and you remain free to accept them. You may object to this collection by contacting our DPO: dpo@omneseducation.com.
4 - DATA COLLECTED AUTOMATICALLY
Our websites, or third-party web analysis services we use, automatically collect certain data such as your IP address, device type, device ID, and other technical information through cookies and similar tracking technologies. This allows us to ensure website security and better understand our visitors for internal analysis and quality improvement.
Collecting personal data allows us to ensure the security of our websites and to better know the type of visitors who go to our sites, where they come from, and what content interests them on our sites. We use this information for internal analysis purposes and to improve the quality and relevance of our sites for visitors. Some of this information may be collected using cookies and similar tracking technologies when you consent to it.
Purposes of processing
We use the personal information we collect from you for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, and those we explained to you at the time of their collection or for compatible purposes.
We use your information to:
Primarily, to allow you to join the alumni network of the OMNES Education group and IUM, put you in contact with former students of your school, and allow you to develop your professional network;
Track your professional career after obtaining your diploma to enable the evaluation of our school (accreditations – AMBA, AACSB and rankings – FT ranking);
Present your profile to companies in order to favor your professional insertion or recruitment for your first job;
Present to you the profile of our graduates and allow you to recruit new collaborators;
Inform you of the news of the school and its alumni, upcoming events, updates, new training/services as well as other offers in accordance with your communication preferences and according to the contact means you indicated to us;
Respond to the requirements imposed on us by administrative and financial controls and audits;
Perform analyses (including market and consumer studies, studies relative to your satisfaction, trend analyses, financial analyses);
Protect you and protect our staff against fraud and other illegal activities or against unfounded accusations; establish, exercise, and defend your rights as well as those of our staff and respect our current legal and regulatory obligations;
Maintain the IT security of our networks;
Operate and manage our websites.
We may also use your personal data in an aggregated form that does not allow the identification of individuals in order to evaluate and improve our training and service offers.
Legal basis for personal data processing
The maintenance of an alumni network (holding a directory, communication to its members, etc.) participates in the improvement of the reputation and attractiveness of the OMNES Education group and IUM, increases the employability and career opportunities of its students, and enriches their pedagogical experience. As such, it responds to a legitimate interest of the group and IUM.

Recipients of personal data
We are likely to transmit your personal data to the following recipients:
All services of the OMNES Education group and IUM according to their operational needs to allow the mentioned purposes;
Subcontractors and service providers of the OMNES Education group and IUM who provide us with services requiring the processing of data, for example our software providers, data hosts, or the organizers of events for which you have registered and who are responsible for welcoming you. If applicable, details on the specific recipients of your data can be communicated to you at the time of their collection;
The members of IUM partner companies, who have access to the platform and who can therefore view your information according to the modalities you defined;
The bodies in charge of the certification of training provided by the OMNES Education group or the companies and bodies intervening in this certification process (AMBA, AACSB, FT ranking);
Any competent body responsible for law enforcement, any governmental or regulatory agency, any court, or other third parties to whom it is necessary to disclose personal information (i) by virtue of current laws or regulations, (ii) to exercise, establish, or defend our rights, or (iii) to protect your interests or those of a third party;
Any third-party company having made a proposal for the purchase, merger, reorganization, acquisition, dissolution, or liquidation of all or part of the OMNES Education group, insofar as we inform the interested third party that it must use your personal data only for the purposes provided for in this Privacy Policy;
Any other person to whom you have authorized us to disclose your personal data.
Your rights
In application of the GDPR and the Monaco law relative to the protection of personal data, you have the right:
to access your personal data and obtain a copy thereof;
to update or correct the inaccuracy of these data, directly from your AlumnForce profile when these data are modifiable or by contacting the data protection officer when they are not;
to request the deletion of your personal data, in certain cases;
to request the limitation of the processing we do of your personal data;
to object to the processing of your personal data except when their processing is necessary for the execution of your contract or is imposed on us by a regulatory constraint;
to request the portability of your personal data;
when the processing is based on your consent, to withdraw it at any time;
to lodge a complaint with the territorially competent authority – in Monaco, the APDP.
You also have the right to refuse at any time to receive marketing communications by clicking on the unsubscribing links in the marketing emails we send you.
To exercise all of your rights, you can write to our data protection officer (dpo@omneseducation.com). When we have reasonable doubts as to your identity, and in order to protect your privacy and ensure the security of your data, we are likely to verify it.
Security of personal data
We attach great importance to the protection of your personal data and your privacy. This is why we have implemented the necessary technical and organizational measures (physical, logical, and human security, regular audits and reviews) with a view to protecting your personal data against accidental, illegal, or unauthorized destruction, loss, alteration, access, disclosure, and use.
Access to the AlumnForce platform is protected by a password that you define. To ensure the security of your account, we recommend that you choose a unique password (that you do not reuse elsewhere), composed of at least 8 characters and including uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.
Retention of personal data
We retain your personal data for the duration necessary for the mentioned purposes. When we have no legitimate need to process your personal data, we delete them or we anonymize them.
The data necessary to verify your status as a graduate of the school are retained for a period of 50 years following your graduation. The data concerned include your last name, first name, date and place of birth, the degree obtained, and the date of its conferral.
The data linked to your account on the AlumnForce platform (meaning the data we entered there and those you completed) are retained during the entire duration of your account's activity. Your account is considered active if you have logged into it in the previous 5 years. Without connection to your account for 5 years, it will become inactive. The attached data will be retained for another 5 years, a duration during which you can request the reactivation of your account from the IUM alumni service. If your account remains inactive for a duration of 5 years, you will be notified at the electronic address(es) you provided. Without action on your part, the account and its data will be deleted.
International transfers of personal data
We host your data in the Principality of Monaco and on the territory of the European Union. When we entrust the hosting of your data to providers, notably when they are saved in the cloud or when we use SaaS applications, we ensure that your data are hosted on the territory of the European Union and that they cannot be transferred outside the European Union without our prior agreement.

Contact
It is possible that we update this Privacy Policy to comply with legislative, regulatory, technical, or commercial developments. When we update our Privacy Policy, we will take the appropriate measures to inform you, depending on the importance of the changes we make. We will inform you before any significant change to the Privacy Policy if and when it is required by current legislative and regulatory texts.
