Giving Back with Purpose - Supporting the Leaders of Tomorrow
For Michael Bouchard, MBA ’07, giving back is more than a gesture—it's a meaningful way to remain connected to the International University of Monaco and to invest in the next generation of leaders. His ongoing involvement exemplifies how alumni can continue to shape the IUM community long after graduation.
Thirteen years ago, Michael established and began sponsoring the CSR Impact Award, an initiative that reflects his deep commitment to corporate social responsibility and community engagement. The award not only honors the student who best upholds the university’s values but also encourages a culture of social contribution among students. It highlights the importance of making a positive impact beyond the classroom—both locally and globally.
The Impact in Action
Last year’s recipient, Annaëlle Raoux, a Bachelor’s graduate, launched the IUM Buddy Program, a peer-to-peer initiative designed to help new students acclimate to life in Monaco. This program has been particularly impactful for international students, offering them a welcoming support network and helping them feel at home far from their countries of origin.
Michael’s generosity empowers students to lead, give back, and build stronger bonds within the IUM and Monegasque communities. His support helps foster an environment where students learn not only to succeed but to contribute meaningfully to society.
Thank you, Michael, for your continuous support and dedication to the IUM community!
