IUM Alumni Around the Globe
- A recap of our Alumni Events abroad
FRANKFURT
Hosted at One Tower, in the heart of Germany’s financial center.
As we reflect on the start of the 2025–2026 academic year, we revisit a memorable evening in Frankfurt last September, when our alumnus Jan Steinbächer (BBA ’05) hosted the first-ever IUM Alumni event in the city, with support from the IUM Alumni Department.
The evening brought together graduates from 1994 to 2023, not only from Frankfurt but also from other locations as Dubai and Sweden. Inspiring conversations and diverse backgrounds and career stories reflected the international and open spirit of the IUM family.
We were also pleased to welcome Prof. Dr. Demir Bektić, IUM Adjunct Professor of Finance, who joined this memorable occasion.

LUXEMBOURG
Finance students meet Alumni
On Monday, March 23, we had the pleasure of hosting our Alumni Networking Cocktail at URBAN Bar & Restaurant in Luxembourg. The evening brought together alumni, current MSc in Finance students and Program Director of the MSc in Finance, Dr. Gregory Moscato.
Co-organised with our Alumni Ambassador, Clément Gauthier, the event offered a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces and build new professional connections in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Guests enjoyed drinks and appetizers while exchanging experiences and insights.

NEW YORK
IUM Alumni Networking Evening with The Glenrothes
On Tuesday, March 24, 2026, the IUM Alumni community gathered in New York City for an exclusive networking evening hosted by The Glenrothes, the boutique Scotch whisky producer and preferred provider of HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco.
Organized by Benjamin Franco, IUM’s New York Alumni Ambassador, in partnership with the Princess Grace Foundation, the event brought together alumni for an intimate evening of connection, learning, and celebration at The Glenrothes’ U.S. headquarters.
Thanks to the support of The Glenrothes, a portion of each ticket was donated to the Princess Grace Foundation, furthering its mission to foster excellence in the arts.
The evening was marked by warm conversations, new professional connections, and a shared pride in the IUM spirit. Alumni enjoyed a refined setting that perfectly balanced sophistication with camaraderie, reinforcing the strength of the IUM network in New York.

LONDON
Alumni joined our students of the Sports Business and International Management Master programs
On March 26th, 2026, we hosted a successful IUM Networking Cocktail at the Experimental Cocktail Club in London, bringing together alumni, MSc students, and professionals for an engaging evening of connection.
Led by Program Director Dr. Camille Safarov, the event was part of the Sports Business Management and International Management study trip, offering students valuable opportunities to exchange with alumni and gain industry insights.

LONDON
At the Monaco Embassy
We were delighted to welcome alumni to the IUM Alumni Networking Event held at the Monaco Embassy in London. The evening with a special focus on Finance was a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces, meet new members of our community, and celebrate the strength, diversity, and success of IUM alumni in the region. It was inspiring to hear about the impressive professional journeys and achievements of our graduates since leaving Monaco.
We were honoured by the presence of Her Excellency Ambassador Evelyn Genta, who was equally impressed by the remarkable talent, leadership, and energy represented throughout the evening. The enthusiasm shown for supporting current students and strengthening the alumni network highlighted the strong spirit of connection that defines the IUM community.
This successful gathering marks an exciting first step toward building a dynamic and thriving alumni presence in London, with future opportunities for networking, mentorship, and collaboration already in development. We thank all attendees for their presence, engagement, and continued commitment to IUM.

TOKYO
The First Japan Alumni Event
We were delighted to host the first Japan Alumni Event, organised by our committed MBA Alumna Yasuko Kogure of the International University of Monaco in Tokyo at the Tokyo American Club Nihonbashi.
It was a wonderful evening in an exclusive location bringing together alumni to reconnect, share memories, and build new connections within the IUM community. After some light refreshments and appetizers in the Club all alumni continued the evening until late in the evening.
Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this first gathering in Japan such a success.
