Why not a DBA?

The DBA is a natural progression for those who have completed their MBA. It builds on the foundation of an MBA and adds much more. It is exclusive and very few managers have one.

Why to do a DBA?
  • Step back from your ongoing professional activities …. to research a specific managerial situation you encounter at work.
  • The DBA degree intends for you to stay in business and enhance your career.
  • The DBA degree intended to allow you to embark on careers as applied researchers, consultants, and senior corporate roles.
  • 3-year program (or 4-year possible)
  • Blended format: Online and Residential Weeks (Monaco, London, and Paris)
  • The first two and the last (6th) Residential Weeks are held in Monaco, the others in Paris and London. PhD Professors and high level managers/entrepreneurs are involved in the program. Institution and company visits are also planned
  • Member of the Executive DBA Council (EDBAC)
 
Admission criteria
  • Academic ability and potential as shown by grades or equivalent tests and examinations
  • Evidence of relevant personal, professional, and educational experience
  • Motivation to study in the chosen field and clearly defined career objectives
  • Leadership potential, personal achievement and interests
  • Uniqueness and contribution to the University’s mission
  • A Master Degree in any subject
  • A minimum of 5 years of managerial experience
 
Programme costs
Tuition Fees: €36,000 (for a 3-year program)  
Note that IUM alumni benefit from 20% reduction on tuition 
 
Application deadlines and start dates
Rolling admission process. Intake in October 2016
