The International University of Monaco (IUM) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jan Steinbächer as its new Alumni Ambassador for Frankfurt, Germany, further strengthening the university’s alumni presence in one of Europe’s leading financial hubs.
A graduate of IUM’s Bachelor program (BSBA 2007), Jan is currently working in Mergers & Acquisitions, at the heart of Germany’s financial center. His professional experience in Investment Banking, combined with his strong connection to IUM, makes him a valuable representative for the alumni community in the region.
Jan has already demonstrated his commitment and leadership by successfully organizing the first IUM alumni gathering in Frankfurt in September 2025, bringing together alumni from different cohorts and fostering meaningful professional connections. Building on this momentum, he also shared his career journey and insights during an IUM Alumni Career Talk, with a special focus on careers in Investment Banking, offering practical guidance and inspiration to current students and fellow alumni.
As Alumni Ambassador for Frankfurt, Jan will play a key role in developing the local alumni network, encouraging engagement, and creating opportunities for networking, knowledge sharing, and collaboration.
Through this appointment, IUM continues to expand its global alumni community and to support strong professional connections across key international markets.
