[Monaco and IUM at the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE) 🇲🇨/🇨🇳]
From November 5 to 10, the Embassy of Monaco in China facilitated the participation of 17 Monegasque entities in this event —one of the largest international trade fairs dedicated to import-export. The CIIE attracted over 400,000 professional Chinese buyers and brought together 3,500 exhibitors.💼
👉 With support from the Monaco Economic Board (MEB) and the Monaco Promotion Office in Singapore, 𝗛.𝗘. Marie-Pascale BOISSON, Ambassador of Monaco to China, and her team set up an impressive pavilion for the Monegasque entities, proudly displaying the colors of the Principality and ideally located across from the China Pavilion. Participating companies represented various sectors: energy, wellness, health, art, sports, real estate, business services, education, jewelry, tourism, retail and trade.
👉 Several events occurred within the pavilion, including a conference on "Sustainability & Luxury" led by our professor, Dr. Estelle Dinh, and a networking cocktail hosted by the Distillerie de Monaco.
👉 The event was further highlighted by a visit from Mrs. Feng Hsu, Monaco's Consul in Shanghai, who engaged with participants and offered valuable insights for penetrating the Chinese market. A significant challenge that the Monegasque companies are enthusiastically embracing!
