In 2010, Daniel MATTES founded Jumio.com, an online mobile payments and identity verification company. Recognized by Frost & Sullivan with an Entrepreneurship Award, Jumio announced >3,500 employees and 170M+ user verifications in 2019. Prior to Jumio, in 2005, he founded Internet telephony company Jajah, which was acquired 2009 for $207 million by Telefonica (Public, NYSE:TEF) in an all cash deal.
More recently , he founded CX.42 , a strategic research and consulting company on AI applications. CX.42 is tracking more than 110 million patents, 200 million scholarly articles and 110 million source code repositories worldwide to identify the greatest investment opportunities based on 42.cx research created by an international team of scientists and experts.
