Alumnus Enifoghor Kagho-Omomadia Reflects on Transformative MBA Journey
Over a decade ago I made the decision to leave Nigeria in search of knowledge.
The journey was not easy. Being Nigerian meant I had extra hurdles to scale, hardest of them being getting a visa to France. I got denied and was expected to try again in 6 months. I refused to accept that but instead went online and found the details of the French consul to Nigeria. I sent a well crafted email and was asked to come back the next day for my visa. This ignited a fire in me that has never gone out. I never back down, I chase what I deserve!
I arrived Monte-Carlo, Monaco and the doors of the International University of Monaco, ready to feed my brain even though I joined the MBA program half way through. It was a tough time but I loved every moment of it. Infact, it was one of the key growth moments in my life.
What was attractive to me about the International University of Monaco MBA?
🚀 10 month program which is very intense but means you get back to work quicker.
🚀 We were 24 students from 19 different countries. Such diversity meant I inherited a vast network and polished my cultural sensitivity.
🚀 Ranked 50th among the top 100 MBA programs worldwide.
🚀 An all-year Career & Personal Development Coaching and Mentorship Program
🚀 Monaco’s unique expertise in luxury services, wealth management, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
It's been 14 years (and 12 different countries) since I graduated from IUM and I look back to that period with such pride. Education is often seen as time spent, but it is actually time saved. You spend less time making mistakes if you have the knowledge of how to do things right.
