Professor Bobel to join the Advisory Councils
Professor Bobel to join the Advisory Councils of “The Institute for Entrepreneurship and Competitiveness” in Italy and “The Netherlands Institute for Competitiveness” in Amsterdam In January 2015, the Italian “Institute for Entrepreneurship and Competitiveness” (IEC) invited Ingo Bobel, Professor of Economics and Strategy at IUM, to join the Advisory Council of the Institute. IEC is directly connected to LIUC-Carlo Cattaneo University. In July 2015, Professor Bobel received the official nomination as a “Member of the Advisory Council of the Netherlands Institute of Competitiveness” (NIC) in Amsterdam. Congratulations Dr. Bobel!!! *** Ingo Bobel, Ph.D. is the Professor of Economics and Strategy at the International University of Monaco and the Associate Editor of the « International Journal of Competitiveness ». He is a member of the Microeconomics of Competitiveness (MOC) Affiliate Network, teaching the MOC curriculum at IUM, which is based on materials developed by the Institute for Strategy and Competitiveness at Harvard Business School and has been a Visiting Professor of Economics at SCQM Jiao Tong University, Shanghai. Dr. Bobel’s academic work comprises seven books and numerous refereed articles, among them in the Journal of Industrial Economics, Journal of Economic Literature, International Journal of Industrial Organization, Kyklos, Managerial and Decision Economics, Journal of Advertising. His work is referred to in many renowned books and encyclopedic publications (for ex. in the Financial Times Lexicon). Dr. Bobel’s work has had a profound impact on industrial organization research with a focus on exploring an updated market structure, conduct and performance paradigm approach. Professor Bobel obtained his Dr.rer.pol. (Doctorate in Political Science) and Dr.rer.pol.habil. (Habilitation) at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany. In 2012, he has been nominated in the British Journal The Economist for the world-wide renowned “Business Professor of the Year Award” where he finally reached rank 46 (out of 222 nominees). In June 2013 the Financial Times has nominated Professor Bobel as « Professor of the Week ». Professor Bobel is a member of the Advisory Board of the « Institute of Entrepreneurship and Competitiveness » in Italy and a member of the Advsiory Board of « The Netherlands Institute for Competitiveness » in Amsterdam.
