Alumni Ambassadors
What is the role of an Ambassador?
• Be the local contact point for any prospective, alumni and other business contacts to represent IUM
• Email address available from the IUM Intranet and alumni website
• To built and reinforce IUM public awareness: public relations tasks, presence of IUM in the local press/media
• Accept and support IUM mission and goals
• Help to cultivate IUM identity
• Identify interesting opportunities for IUM:
Prospective students and parents who will not benefit from the school's education program
Cooperation (Companies partnerships, Local shools and universities' partnerships, etc.)
Events/conferences

If you are not IUM Alumni
• Are you a prospective student and would like to have more info on IUM?
• Do you prefer to have a coffee with an alumnus/a and share with them their IUM experience, expertise, ideas, networking, job opportunities?
• Would you like to meet with an alumnus/a who has the same nationality than you and graduated at IUM?
• Do you need to have a real testimonial from a student who graduated from the same program than you would like to study?

An IUM ambassador is here to help you and share with you his/her own experience at IUM and the Principality of Monaco. He/ she’s here to inform you, give you some hints, explain you how to benefit the most from your education at IUM, and will take the time to answer your practical questions.
If you are more than 4 ambassadors in the same city, geographic area or business/ industry field, you will be able to create an Alumni club!
Alumni Clubs
• Interaction with the IUM Alumni department and board members in providing information on request;
• Responsible for coordination of alumni club reunions through personal and telephone contact with local club members after having approval from IUM Alumni department;
• The Alumni events organized by your own club:
Assists in the co-ordination of alumni reunions with the IUM Alumni dept and board members;
Negotiates contract with hotels, restaurants, bars, to have discounted prices and special offers (Alumni membership cards).
Create an IUM Alumni Club
Create an IUM Alumni Club shows your involvement and willingness to promote IUM throughout the world and build an even stronger network of students and the business world.
Each member should have specific roles. If you are willing to create an alumni club and cannot find any alumni students in your area, please email Mathilde Maylin, mmaylin@monaco.edu
Michel Grand: President of the IUM Alumni Club in Switzerland

Michel took the position of the President of the IUM Alumni club in Switzerland. His main goal is to promote networking within the Swiss IUM Alumni community by organizing professional events and conferences in different locations in the country where highly recognized professionals will come to discuss about current situations in different fields such as Finance, Luxury goods and more.
This club emphasize on the people’s mindset from IUM to have leisure activities together and perpetrate the IUM spirit in Switzerland! If you would like to join this club, please send him an email mgrand@monaco.edu.
